Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Dance/Cheer Coach and Sports Coach, where your passion for movement, sports, and mentorship will inspire little athletes to reach their full potential!
In this energetic role, you will lead dance routines, cheerleading squads, and various sports activities, fostering teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Your enthusiasm and expertise will create a positive environment that encourages physical activity, skill development, and fun for all participants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while honing your coaching skills across multiple disciplines.
- Teach dance (ballet) & cheerleading or sports to students ages 2–10
- Classes held in preschools & elementary schools
- Teach 2–8 classes/week (Mon–Fri, between 9am–6pm)
- Fun, high-energy environment with room to grow in the program
- Must live in the Central Nebraska area
- Experience working with children (ages 3–10)
- Background in dance, cheer, or sports
- Reliable transportation to travel to schools
- Available for the full 2026–27 school year

Responsibilities
- Responsible–arrives early to each class, can manage a class of up to 10 students,organized and can keep accurate attendance.
- Professional–neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with partner schools’ staff.
- Enthusiastic–MUST enjoy teaching and working with young children, be able to confidently connect with children primarily ages 3-6.
- Fun–enjoys having FUN with young children, being goofy, using your imagination, and watching children smile all while managing and teaching an effective class.
- Reliable transportation–must have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license.
- Organization-Instructors are given a monthly lesson plan and curriculum to follow but will need time to prepare for classes outside of the classroom
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education with a focus on youth development
- Background in cheerleading or dance coaching preferred
- Strong skills in behavior management to motivate students and maintain a positive learning environment
- Ability to work with children of diverse ages and skill levels with patience and enthusiasm
- Certifications in first aid, and CPR desirable
