About The Role:
This role is responsible for leading Ultra Football's customisation production by creating and maintaining high-quality heat transfer logos for football apparel. The position focuses on printing, preparing, organising, and maintaining logo stock to ensure customer and club orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
Working as a 2IC to the Production Manager, this role leads with sourcing logos, managing supplier orders, and maintaining production equipment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, has excellent attention to detail, takes pride in producing quality work, and looking for a step into management.
Key Responsibilities:
Logo Production:
- Print, cut, weed, and prepare heat transfer vinyl logos for football apparel.
- Produce custom names, numbers, sponsor logos, and competition badges to company quality standards.
- Ensure all logos are accurately produced and ready for application by the Customisation Team.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy across all production work.
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Maintain adequate stock levels of commonly used logos, namesets, and materials.
- Monitor inventory and identify items requiring replenishment.
- Organise and maintain logo storage.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
Supplier & Order Management:
- Order logos, namesets, materials, and production supplies from approved suppliers.
- Source correct logos or artwork for customer orders when unavailable internally.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
- Assist in resolving supply or artwork issues where required.
Equipment & Production Support:
- Operate Roland printers and associated production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on printers and equipment.
- Report equipment faults and coordinate servicing when required.
- Assist in improving production processes and workflow efficiency.
Team Support:
- Work closely with the Customisation Team to ensure production deadlines are achieved.
- Assist during peak trading periods to support increased production volumes.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe production workspace.
- Contribute ideas to improve production quality and efficiency.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in print production, apparel decoration, signage, or similar manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Experience operating large-format printers or heat press equipment is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with using Adobe Illustrator or similar design programs is desirable but not essential.
- Training will be provided for the right candidate with a willingness to learn.

- Stock Management: Accurate inventory levels with minimal stock shortages.
- Equipment Maintenance: Roland printers maintained and operating with minimal downtime.
- Productivity: Consistent completion of daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Quality Control: Logos and garments produced to Ultra Football's quality standards with minimal wastage.
