POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Customer Service Lead, the Customer Service Representative provides exceptional support to dealers and consumers by assisting with technical questions, product inquiries, orders, and warranty-related matters. This position plays a key role in delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting Bowtech’s commitment to quality, innovation, and service excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to incoming phone calls and emails from dealers and consumers regarding Bowtech products and services.
- Provide technical support and guidance related to bow maintenance, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Process warranty claims and service requests while ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Collect and maintain detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions within company systems.
- Exercise sound judgment to determine appropriate solutions and service recommendations.
- Process incoming bows for repair and communicate repair estimates with dealers when necessary.
- Remain professional and composed while handling high-volume workloads and difficult customer situations.
- Escalate unusual or complex issues to the Product/Warranty Service Manager as appropriate.
- Process dealer orders and payment information accurately.
- Collaborate with Sales and Parts Fulfillment teams to support dealer growth and ensure timely order completion.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
CROSS-TRAINING AND BRAND SUPPORT
- Provide customer and warranty support for Bowtech accessory brands.
- Assist with seasonal and high-volume service demands across multiple product categories.
- Maintain knowledge of products and components across all supported brands.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent service and technical expertise throughout the organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting manufacturing companies, retailers or warranty programs
- Passion for archery, hunting and the outdoor lifestyle.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of two years of customer service or related support experience.
- Minimum of two years of experience with archery equipment or outdoor sporting goods.
- Working knowledge of bow mechanics, components, and tuning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn company-specific software applications.
- Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service while building positive relationships with customers, dealers, and coworkers.
