About Baller League

Small-sided football is the world's biggest game. Baller League is here to define it.

Founded in 2024, Baller League was built by football fanatics who saw an opportunity to create something different: a new pathway for talent, a new stage for the game, and a new home for football culture.

Across the UK and USA, our professional 6v6 leagues unite elite players, creators and fans in a football ecosystem that turns every matchday into a cultural moment.

We're not following the playbook. We're writing it. We are building a movement that makes football more accessible, more engaging and more connected than ever before- democratising and defining a new era for the world's game.

About the Role

We're looking for a Culture Marketing Manager to help grow Baller League by creating content, spotting trends and bringing football culture to life.

This is an execution-first role for someone who is obsessed with football, understands internet culture and knows what fans care about. You'll work closely with the wider marketing team to turn ideas into campaigns, content and moments that people want to share.

The ideal candidate is a recent marketing graduate with a genuine understanding of football culture. Playing academy football or having a strong football background is highly desirable, as we're looking for someone who instinctively understands the audience we're building for.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape one of the fastest-growing sports entertainment brands in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ideate, develop and execute culture marketing campaigns across social, digital and live events.
  • Identify trends, viral moments and conversations within football, sport and internet culture that Baller League can own.
  • Work with creators, players and clubs to produce engaging content that grows fan engagement.
  • Assist in bringing campaign ideas to life from concept through to execution.
  • Help manage content calendars and ensure campaigns are delivered on time.
  • Support matchday activations, events and fan experiences.
  • Monitor campaign performance and use insights to improve future content and campaigns.
  • Research emerging creators, communities and cultural moments that align with the Baller League brand.
  • Collaborate closely with creative, social, content and commercial teams to execute marketing initiatives.
  • Be hands-on- comfortable jumping into whatever is needed in a fast-paced startup environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • 0–3 years' marketing experience through internships or full-time roles.
  • Academy football playing background or strong competitive football experience highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of football culture, fan communities and social media.
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Passion for football, sport, entertainment and internet culture.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working occasional evenings and weekends during the season.
