Description:
A global athletic brand is looking for a Lead Social Creative Strategist to join the Global Digital Marketing team focused on Basketball. In this role, you will architect, execute, and oversee 365-day social marketing plans across brand channels and partner platforms. You will ensure that brand, product, and seasonal messages resonate with the target consumer, lead the strategic development of branded content and partnerships, and creative direct content at the pulse of the game. You will collaborate closely with brand, sports marketing, geo teams, and digital partners to inspire global love and advocacy for the Basketball category.

Requirements for the role:
- 7–9+ years of relevant work experience
- 5 years of experience in social media and a creative direction/narrative background
- Demonstrated ability to develop social content for highly visible brands
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile culture—embraces and leads through change and ambiguity
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including presenting on complex business issues
- Fluency in reading consumer data and crafting measurement and optimization plans
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
- Experience managing creative, media, and research agencies
- Excellent relationship building skills and ability to influence working teams and key partners
- Detail oriented—able to build plans, presentations, and keep the team moving cohesively
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in digital marketing, content creation, and social media
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field (preferred)
- 7–9+ years of relevant work experience
- Or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
