Located in the beautiful City of Cranbrook, British Columbia, this position requires a strategic leader to oversee recreation facilities and ensure smooth operations. The General Manager will manage facility bookings, user relationships, and municipal coordination to enhance customer experiences. Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, coach, and manage recreation and culture staff
• Develop departmental goals aligned with city objectives
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Oversee facility bookings and event coordination
• Address complex customer concerns and improve service levels
Requirements:
• Four-year degree in Recreation Management or related field
• Three years’ experience managing recreation facilities
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Knowledge of recreation operations and event coordination
• Strong leadership and communication skills
