General Responsibilities
- Teach water adjustment, float, and breathing skills
- Help young swimmers build water confidence
- Teach basic water safety and the dos/don’t of recreational swimming.
- Teach both recreation and pre‑competitive swimming skills.
- Teach basics of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.
- Help swimmers to compete at age appropriate levels.
- Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong swimming background required.
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to address complaints and resolve concerns as needed.
- Ability to teach required skills.
- Demonstrate promptness and advanced preparation.
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
