Peristeri BC is currently seeking a dedicated and agile Content Creator / Social Media Manager to oversee and elevate our digital presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of current social media trends, an eye for mobile-first content, and the ability to effectively manage our online community.
This role is instrumental in maintaining our connection with our fanbase and amplifying the club's daily digital footprint.
Scope of Responsibilities
Mobile Content Capture (iPhone-Based)
- Gameday Coverage: Provide comprehensive, on-the-ground coverage for all home games, away fixtures within Athens, and select high-stakes away matches outside the region.
- Basic Mobile Editing: Perform slight, on-the-fly editing of the captured photos and videos to ensure they are ready for native social media deployment.
- Daily Team Practices: Document everyday training sessions (occasionally creating fun, interactive content with the players and jumping on current social media trends).
- Club & Community Events: Cover all Peristeri BC events, whether they are hosted at the stadium or at off-site locations.
- Sponsor Activations: Capture dedicated mobile content for commercial and sponsor-related activities.
Social Media Management & Live Posting
- End-to-End Execution: Own the daily social media workflow, which includes selecting visuals, writing copy, and publishing. Additionally, act as the central publishing hub for the club's broader communications by receiving, integrating, and posting ready-made content supplied by internal and external key stakeholders.
- Oversee the critical 48-hour posting window surrounding games. This involves executing template-driven content ranging from pre-game announcements to post-game summaries.
- Community Management: Handle day-to-day interactions with the fanbase by actively monitoring and replying to comments and direct messages. Cultivate club affinity by acknowledging fans, sharing user-generated content, and reposting tagged posts and player mentions.
