Hassan Allam Utilities (HAU), the development and investment arm of Hassan Allam Holding, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. HAU is a leading investor in the Energy, Logistics, Water, and Social Infrastructure sectors.

The Compliance Manager serves as a key driver of Hassan Allam Utilities integrity framework across its sectors and business verticals. This role is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the compliance framework across HAU and its subsidiaries.


Roles and Responsibilitie

  • sImplement and manage the compliance program for the company, ensuring alignment with HAU's objectives and regulatory requirements, particularly in areas of anti-bribery, anti-corruption (ABC), sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs)
  • .Provide proactive advice to senior management and the board on compliance-related matters to safely enable business growth and address ethical and integrity risks in a timely manner
  • .Maintain an up-to-date understanding of changes in laws and regulations affecting HAU's strategic objectives and ensure timely updates to company policies and procedures
  • .Conduct compliance and integrity risk assessments across business units and develop strategies to mitigate identified compliance risks
  • .Plan and execute deep-dive monitoring activities and regular compliance checks to verify adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards
  • .Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance matters (such as ABC and sanctions) and foster organizational awareness
  • .Prepare periodic compliance reporting for senior management, partner teams, and the board of directors
  • .Ensure compliance with requirements from Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) when applicable
  • .Manage all compliance-related communications
  • .(Long-term) Support broader compliance risk assessments and alignment initiatives across parent or holding companies as the compliance framework matures

Requirement

  • s:University Bachelor degree in Law, Business Administration, or another related field, Master degree or professional certification in compliance is preferre
  • d.Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in a compliance role preferably within the construction or renewable energy industries, with a focus on anti-bribery, corruption, and sanction
  • s.Professional certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP, CFE) is highly preferre
  • d.Proven track record of implementing compliance programs and conducting high-level monitoring activitie
  • s.Solid knowledge of international regulations, particularly those related to ABC and sanctions within the company’s operating sectors (water, energy, logistics, etc
  • .)Sound working knowledge of Egyptian laws and regulation
  • s.Strong team leadership, advanced analytical skills, excellent communication- and interpersonal skill
  • s.Knowledge of advanced compliance management systems and tool
