A well-established, national charity is seeking an experienced Community Fundraising Consultant to step into a key, Head of Department-level role, driving performance and momentum across its community fundraising portfolio.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior fundraising professional who can quickly embed into the organisation, lead from the front, and deliver tangible results in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
You will take ownership of community fundraising performance, with a particular focus on income growth, supporter engagement, and sporting activity. Working at a senior level, you will bring clarity, pace and direction, while also providing hands-on support to the team to ensure delivery against ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive and improve community fundraising performance, including sports and challenge-based activity
* Provide leadership and direction at a senior level
* Build energy and engagement across the team to accelerate momentum
* Support the development and execution of fundraising strategy
* Strengthen supporter stewardship, including engagement with senior stakeholders
* Ensure a strong pipeline of opportunities and sustainable income growth
About You
You will be a credible and experienced fundraising leader, able to make an immediate impact.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven success in community fundraising, including sports-related income streams
* Strong people leadership and team engagement skills
* Ability to work at pace, bringing focus, challenge and clarity
* Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on delivery
* Strong stakeholder management, including at senior level
* Self-sufficient and able to hit the ground running
Additional Information
* Location: Fully remote
* Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time considered
* Contract: Interim – Inside IR35
