Position: Community Disc Golf Instructor Role
Become a Disc Golf Instructor at Aaniin Community Centre, leading fun and educational programs while ensuring a safe environment for participants at all skill levels.
Starting June 30, this part-time position in the Recreation Services Department emphasizes planning, organizing, and instructing disc golf programs for children and adults. You will ensure safety and quality instruction while managing various tasks including lesson planning and equipment organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and conduct disc golf programs for diverse age groups
• Lead sessions with safety and engagement as priorities
• Write and implement effective lesson plans
• Maintain equipment inventory and ensure safety compliance
• Record attendance and monitor participant progress
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required or in progress
• Current First Aid Certification with CPR “C”
• High Five Certification is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Leadership skills to oversee assistants and assist with participant issues
