Role overview Job Title: Bloomsbury Money Community Coach

Salary: Ranging from £34,000 to £44,000 per annum based on experience.

Contract Type: Permanent – Full time position

Line Manager: Head of Football

The role will lead and oversee the Jersey Bulls community programme which runs with our partnership with Sports Bug. Delivering sessions in school time and fun after school clubs as well as delivering sessions within the school holidays. Working alongside our community delivery partner, Sports Bug, we are developing a growing programme that connects schools, families and communities with the club, creating pathways into participation, personal development and lifelong involvement in sport. We are seeking an energetic, ambitious and personable individual who can inspire young people through football and act as a positive ambassador for both Jersey Bulls FC and Sports Bug. Candidates who have played football at a high level, either within the academy system, semi-professional game or professional environment, are particularly encouraged to apply.

This is a unique opportunity to join Jersey Bulls FC as our Bloomsbury Money Community Coach, delivering football and educational programmes as well as developing and evolving across the island, engaging with schools, inspiring young people and helping to grow the club's impact within the community.

Knowledge, skills and experience – essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young people • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances

• Experience playing football within a professional academy, semi-professional or professional environment.

• Experience delivering football coaching within schools, clubs or community settings. • Experience acting as a positive role model for young people.

• FA Level 2 /UEFA C Licence.

• Experience planning and delivering football camps and participation programmes.

• Strong understanding of safeguarding health and safety and risk assessments.

• A clean driving license

• DBS check and Safeguarding and First Aid qualifications essential

Knowledge, skills and experience – desirable

• FA Level 3/UEFA B Qualification

• Experience working with a budget

• This role would particularly suit a current or recently retired player looking to combine their football journey with a rewarding career in community sport

• The coach will work within our Boys or Girls Academy. Therefore, they will require experience of working within, or being a part of, a professional academy setup or close equivalent.
