Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Finance Manager based in Grand Bay. The Commercial Finance Manager takes sole ownership of all pricing across the Druids product range, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. This is the single point of authority for margin management, discount approval, and pricing strategy — removing this responsibility entirely from the marketing team.
Core responsibilities
• Own and manage monthly product margins across all SKUs, packs, and bundles
• Set, activate, and disable all discount codes — full ownership, no marketing dependency
• Approve or reject discount requests from the marketing team
• Monitor margin targets by country and flag underperformance immediately
• Analyse website sales data to identify margin uplift opportunities on top sellers
• Work with marketing to authorise pricing for campaigns and promotions
• Produce regular margin performance reports for the Head of Finance and leadership
What success looks like
• Margin targets hit in every active country, every month
• Zero unapproved discounts going live
• Clear visibility on which products are over- or under-priced
• Marketing team fully unblocked from pricing admin
• Ongoing margin improvement on top-selling lines
Skills & experience required
• Background in pricing, commercial finance, or revenue management
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills; comfortable with margin calculations
• Experience reading e-commerce or website analytics (GA4, Shopify, etc.)
• Confident working across multiple markets and currencies
• Detail-oriented with a strong commercial mindset
• Must be based in or able to commute to Grand Baie, Mauritius
Nice to have
• Experience in DTC, supplements, or FMCG pricing
• Familiarity with promotional mechanics and discount strategy
• Experience with pricing tools or BI dashboards
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
