Club Volleyball Director: For an already established and growing volleyball club!

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven Club Volleyball Director to lead and grow our already established Volleyball Academy. This is a unique opportunity for a volleyball professional to continue and build upon the championship culture, develop athletes, mentor coaches, and expand one of the region’s most promising volleyball organizations.
This position comes with an already in place Administrative Assistant for support.
The Club Volleyball Director will oversee all aspects of club operations, athlete development, coaching staff management, programming, recruiting efforts, and community engagement while ensuring an exceptional experience for athletes and families.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Program Development
- Direct and oversee all club volleyball operations and programming.
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for Volleyball Academy.
- Create a positive, competitive, and athlete-centered culture.
- Establish training philosophies, player development pathways, and team standards.
Coaching Management
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise coaching staff.
- Conduct regular coach evaluations and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure consistency in coaching methods and player development throughout the club.
Athlete Development
- Design and oversee age-appropriate training programs.
- Support athlete skill development, performance, and college recruiting opportunities.
- Foster leadership, sportsmanship, and personal growth among athletes.
Operations & Administration
- Manage team formation, tryouts, scheduling, tournaments, travel logistics, and seasonal planning.
- Collaborate with ownership on budgeting, financial performance, and program growth.
- Maintain compliance with AAU, USAV, and other governing organizations.
Recruitment & Community Outreach
- Build relationships with local schools, coaches, athletes, and families.
- Promote club programs through community events, social media, camps, clinics, and outreach initiatives.
- Serve as the primary ambassador for Volleyball Academy within the community.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1-3 years of volleyball coaching experience at the club, high school, collegiate, or comparable level.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop athletes and build successful programs.
- Experience managing teams, coaches, or athletic programs.
- Knowledge of USAV and/or AAU volleyball operations.
Preferred
- Collegiate playing or coaching experience.
- Club director or program management experience.
- College recruiting knowledge and athlete placement experience.
- Background in business development, program growth, or sports management.
