About Strive Soccer Club (MSOS)
Strive Soccer Club is a growing competitive youth soccer organization focused on developing players through high-quality coaching, strong culture, and a clear pathway for progression. As part of the MSOS family alongside Relentless Soccer Club, we are building a system that develops complete players on and off the field.
We are seeking a Part-Time Director of Coaching to lead and elevate our coaching staff and player development structure.
Position Overview
The Director of Coaching (DOC) will oversee coaching standards, player development, and training methodology across the club. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a motivated coach looking to make a significant impact while maintaining flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate coaching staff
- Run periodic coach education sessions and field evaluations
- Ensure alignment with club philosophy and training standards
Player Development
- Oversee player progression across all age groups
- Assist with player placement and team formation
- Maintain consistency in training sessions and match approach
Program Oversight
- Support seasonal planning, team structure, and competition alignment
- Collaborate with admin staff on scheduling and communication
- Provide guidance to team managers and families when needed
Club Culture
- Uphold Strive’s identity of growth, discipline, and progression
- Maintain a positive and professional environment across all teams
Time Commitment (Flexible Structure)
- Evening training sessions (2–4 days/week)
- Weekend match presence (as needed)
- Monthly coach meetings and evaluations
- Approx. 15–25 hours per week depending on season
Qualifications
Required:
- USSF “C” License (minimum) or equivalent
- 3+ years of youth/select coaching experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience mentoring coaches or leading programs
- Background in long-term player development models
