Job Description
Anytime Fitness Westfield is looking for an energetic, coach-minded leader to serve as our Club Manager.
This is not a behind-the-desk job.
This is a coaching role, a sales leadership role, and a community-building role — all in one. You will be the most important person in our club, responsible for the growth of our membership, the development of our team, and the experience of every single member who walks through our doors.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Sales & Lead Management
- Respond to every lead within minutes — call first, text immediately
- Book appointments on the first contact whenever possible
- Conduct confident, consultative membership and personal training sales conversations
- Follow up on every lead through multiple channels, multiple times
- Ask for the commitment — every time
- Track leads, conversions, and follow-up activity daily
Member Coaching & Retention
- Be a present, visible coach on the floor every day
- Build genuine relationships with members at every stage of their fitness journey
- Conduct fitness consultations and goal-setting sessions
- Proactively check in on members and celebrate their progress
- Re-engage members who have gone quiet
- Create an experience so good that members refer their friends and family
Team Leadership & Development
- Hire, train, and coach a high-performing team
- Conduct weekly role plays on sales, consultations, and objection handling
- Review team performance metrics and KPIs weekly
- Set clear daily activity expectations and hold the team accountable
- Build a culture of energy, accountability, and genuine care
Marketing & Community Outreach
- Execute local marketing that drives real action and real leads
- Share member success stories, transformation results, and coaching wins
- Conduct daily outreach to local businesses and community organizations
- Build B2B partnerships throughout the Westfield, MA area
- Drive referral conversations with current members consistently
Club Operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming club at all times
- Run daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Manage staff scheduling and coordinate payroll
- Ensure full compliance with Anytime Fitness brand standards
- Handle member concerns quickly and professionally
Daily Expectations
Every day in this role looks like:
- Responding to every lead — immediately
- Following up on all open leads
- Booking consultations and appointments
- Engaging with members on the floor
- Conducting community and business outreach
- Asking members for referrals
- Coaching and developing your team
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Passion for fitness and helping people change their lives
- 2+ years of experience in sales, leadership, or coaching
- Strong people skills — you make everyone feel welcome and valued
- Proven ability to drive results through a team
- Comfortable with sales conversations and asking for commitments
- High energy, self-motivated, and accountable to results
- Flexible availability — some evenings and weekends required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred:
- Experience in the fitness or wellness industry
- Personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or similar)
- Familiarity with club management or CRM software
- Knowledge of the Westfield, MA and Western Massachusetts community

Pay: $50,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
