The company builds products, services, and experiences that inspire, excite, and delight. We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join this global organization.
What you would do & responsibilities
- Driving cloud success through technical consulting, architecture design, migrations, and operations.
- Design and optimize cloud architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS for both SAP and non-SAP workloads.
- Support sales teams in winning new cloud projects through technical consulting, architecture design, and proof-of-concepts.
- Plan and lead cloud transition and transformation projects – from lift-and-shift migrations to full cloud-native modernization.
- Operate and continuously improve large multi-cloud environments running numerous VMs (SAP and non-SAP) as well as cloud-native services.
- Automate infrastructure and operations using Terraform.
- Manage monitoring and backup strategies, and ensure high availability through effective incident and performance management.
- Develop and implement cost optimization strategies across cloud platforms.
- Support customers in achieving transparency, efficiency, and sustainable cloud economics.
Requirements
- English, B2 – Professional working proficiency
- German, C1 – Full professional proficiency
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and backup & recovery solutions.
- Practical experience operating VM-based environments (SAP & non-SAP) and cloud-native workloads.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience in monitoring, operations, and performance optimization.
- Analytical, solution-driven mindset with a strong customer focus.
