Duties
- Perform cleaning of sales floors, restrooms, fitting rooms, storage areas, and staff zones using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
- Handle janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash disposal, and sanitation to uphold hygiene standards.
- Operate floor buffers and other floor care machinery to maintain polished, safe walking surfaces.
- Follow safety protocols when handling chemical agents and cleaning equipment to prevent accidents or health hazards.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, perform light repairs or report issues to maintenance teams promptly.
- Support overall store cleanliness and sanitation efforts during operational hours and after closing shifts.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within retail or industrial environments. – Preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning agents. – Preferred, but not required.
- Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and industrial scrubbers. – Preferred, but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely following safe lifting practices. – Preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and facilities maintenance procedures. Preferred, but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude when interacting with staff and customers.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning protocols, and residential painting is a plus. -Preferred, but not required.
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols and safety protocol adherence policies at all times.

Pay: $16.50 – $17.00 per hour
