OUR OPERATION
Ibis Logistics & Transport runs dedicated freight relationships and consistent lanes. We’re not chasing load boards — we’re building something. Our freight includes general commodities, sporting goods, groceries, and drop-and-hook loads across regional OTR corridors in the surrounding states.
We run a tight, professional operation and take care of our equipment. The truck you’ll be driving reflects that standard — and we expect you to as well.
This position is built for a driver who thinks beyond the next paycheck and understands that reliability, safety, and strong customer relationships are what create long-term success — and eventually, independence — in trucking.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver freight safely, professionally, and on time
- Maintain strong communication with dispatch and management
- Represent Ibis Logistics professionally at shippers, receivers, and on the road
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain equipment awareness
- Prioritize safety, compliance, and accurate log and documentation management
- Handle freight with care and operate with accountability and attention to detail
- Manage time effectively and communicate proactively regarding any delays or issues
IDEAL CANDIDATE
This role is ideal for drivers who:
- Have OTR or regional experience and understand what life on the road actually requires
- Take pride in operating professionally and keeping equipment in top condition
- Want consistent income with real earning potential — not a capped salary
- Are entrepreneurial by nature and interested in eventually owning their own operation
- Want direct access to ownership and a long-term relationship, not just another driving job
New grads or lower-experience drivers will be considered only with an exceptional safety record and strong references.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record (MVR required)
- OTR or regional experience preferred
- Must pass drug screening
- Professional attitude and commitment to safety
- Ability to be on the road consistently — this is a true OTR position
