Position: Civilian Recreation Coordinator for CAF
Location: St. John’s
Become a key player in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Civilian Recreation Coordinator in Latvia. This role includes deploying for six months abroad, coordinating exciting recreation programs and ensuring participant safety.
As a Recreation Coordinator, you’ll work within an enthusiastic team to provide engaging recreational activities for CAF members and partner nations. Key responsibilities include managing participant registrations, delivering policy briefings, and overseeing the execution of events. You’ll play a vital role in fostering enjoyable experiences and cultural exploration for participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and plan recreational activities and excursions
• Manage event execution, including setup and teardown
• Ensure participant registration and attendance tracking
• Create and maintain event schedules and calendars
• Conduct safety orientations for participants
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and Canadian citizenship
• Relevant education, training, or experience
• Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C certification
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting
• English proficiency, bilingual candidates preferred
