Math Biology (www.mathbiology.tech) is an innovative medical technology startup, expanding into the United States to shift healthcare from reactive treatment to proactive, personalized prevention and targeting Longevity goals.
We are the creators of the first non-invasive metabolic screening platform based on proprietary hardware and AI / mathematical models to reveal real-time metabolic activity.
The Platform, called DMA®, technology identifies metabolic symptoms, the early detection of chronic diseases, and enables integrative and personalized medicine. In addition, DMA has applications in Sports & High Performance Stress occupations. Possible markets include – professional sports teams, college sports teams, individual Olympic sports athletes, etc. for example. Both areas are opportunities for patients to support personal longevity goals or increase athletics.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and visionary CEO of North American Operations to manage the next fundraising round and open the market.
The Role: As the CEO of North American Operations, you will function as the architect of our fundraising and commercialization engine.
This role requires "total lifecycle ownership" of the organization’s software-based and hardware-integrated medical products, operating at the intersection of agile software engineering, rigorous regulatory compliance, and patient-centered clinical strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise Funds: Act as the face of the company to US institutional investors and lead our Series A rounds. You will be expected to secure at least $12 million in US$ within your first 9 months by articulating a compelling narrative of clinical utility, economic impact, and scalable growth. In particular, the launch of the Sport & High Performance segment as the first market entry objective.
- Hire Staff & Build Teams: Architect and lead high-performing teams across sales, marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory compliance.
- Execute Regulatory Strategy: Lead the transition from European MDR compliance to the FDA framework, steering our Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) through the 510(k) or De Novo pathways.
- Team Building: Architect the US commercial and regulatory team, maintaining less than 10% turnover in the senior leadership team during the contract period..
Compensation:
Compensation includes base salary + Bonus è Equity Allocations to be negotiated based on experience and connections with investors and healthcare / sport performance markets – our proposed first targeted market.

- Proven experience as a CEO, President, General Manager, COO, Managing Director, or senior executive with meaningful P&L responsibility.

Contract Term Summary:
- Term: 12+24 months from the effective date, with an option to renew or convert to full-time W-2 employment upon mutual agreement.
- Termination for Cause: Math Biology may terminate the agreement immediately without payout for breach of confidentiality or ethical code as outlined in the final contract.
- Termination without Cause: Either party may terminate the agreement with a 60-day written notice. If terminated by the company without cause, the contractor receives a pro-rated retainer for the notice period and retains all equity vested up to the termination date.
- Change of Control (Double-Trigger): If Math Biology is acquired or merges during the 3-year term and the contractor's services are terminated by the acquiring entity, 100% of their unvested equity will immediately accelerate and vest.
- This can be a full or part - time employment contract that will be agreed upon upon final agreement.
- Travel and living expenses will be covered by the contract
