Job Summary:
The Head Cheer Coach for Chicago Infinity is responsible for leading the tumbling program for athletes of all skill levels. They will develop and implement training plans, evaluate athlete progress, and collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure the safety and development of all athletes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive cheer/tumbling training program for athletes of all skill levels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with athletes and their families to ensure their needs and goals are met.
- Evaluate athlete progress and adjust training plans as needed to ensure maximum growth and safety.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to athlete development.
- Attend competitions and other events to support and coach athletes.
- Maintain a safe and clean training environment, ensuring equipment is in good condition and facilities are well-maintained.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes athlete development, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Physical Demands:
The Head Cheer Coach of Chicago Infinity must be physically fit and able to perform tumbling and gymnastics maneuvers themselves in order to effectively demonstrate proper techniques to athletes. They may also need to spot athletes during training, which requires strength and endurance.
Working Environment:
The Head Cheer Coach of Chicago Infinity will work primarily in the program’s training facilities. They may also need to travel to competitions or other events. The work environment may involve loud music and cheering, as well as frequent interaction with athletes, coaches, and parents.
Job Type: Part-time
