Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Certified Personal Trainer to join our sports performance business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, a basic understanding of physiology and anatomy, and sports performance. This role involves working with individual clients and group fitness participants to help them achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized coaching, education, and motivation. The Certified Personal Trainer will play a key role in fostering a positive environment that promotes health, fitness, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to evaluate clients’ physical condition and set realistic goals
- Deliver & instruct our legacy customized workout programs
- Provide one-on-one personal training sessions focusing on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, & safety protocols
- Lead group fitness classes & sports sessions on physical education topics and performance strategies
- Educate clients on basic physiology, anatomy, and the benefits of regular exercise to enhance their understanding and motivation
- Monitor client progress regularly & modify training accordingly to ensure continuous improvement
- Promote fitness sales by engaging with prospective clients and maintaining strong relationships with current members
- Maintain a clean, organized gym environment adhering to health and safety standards
Skills
- Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for designing safe and effective workouts
- Proven experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or teaching physical education
- Ability to deliver our tailored training programs that meet diverse client needs
- Excellent communication skills for coaching, motivating, and educating clients effectively
- Sales skills related to fitness services to attract new clients and retain existing members
- Familiarity with health club operations and gym equipment usage
- Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly while ensuring proper form and safety measures are followed
- Passion for sports & promoting health and wellness through engaging instruction and personalized support
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
