About the Role
Rayna Tours is launching a new Events & Experiences category and is looking for an entrepreneurial, well-connected leader to build and scale it. Unlike a traditional sales role, the focus is on sourcing, contracting, and onboarding high-quality events, festivals, and retreats. Once live, Rayna’s AI-powered marketing engine automatically promotes and sells the inventory.
Core Areas
- Local Events Ticketing (UAE): Build relationships with event organizers across the UAE to secure ticket inventory for concerts, festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, and entertainment shows, with the goal of establishing Rayna as a leading ticketing platform.
- Music Festival Holiday Packages (Worldwide): Partner with major festival organizers such as Tomorrowland, Coachella, Ultra, Sunburn, and Burning Man to secure ticket access and work with destination teams to create complete travel packages.
- Fitness & Wellness Retreats (Worldwide): Source and partner with leading wellness and fitness retreats globally, developing attractive retreat travel packages in collaboration with destination teams.
How the Role Works
Rayna operates across 137 destination cities worldwide. The Category Head secures event, festival, and retreat partnerships, while destination heads create the local travel and ground arrangements, enabling global expansion through a collaborative model.
Key Responsibilities
- Build partnerships with event organizers across the UAE and secure ticket inventory.
- Develop relationships with global music festival organizers to obtain tickets and access.
- Source and partner with leading fitness and wellness retreats worldwide.
- Collaborate with destination heads to create event, festival, and retreat travel packages.
- Launch and manage inventory on the Rayna platform.
- Grow the category and build a team as the business scales.
- Negotiate commercial agreements that protect Rayna's margins.
- Provide regular performance and progress updates to the Founder & CEO.
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years' experience in events, entertainment, ticketing, travel, or related sectors.
- Strong industry network and existing organizer relationships preferred.
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and comfortable building a category from scratch.
- Strong negotiation, contracting, and partnership management skills.
- Understanding of UAE, Saudi, and Indian markets is an advantage.
