Become a vital part of our Aquatic Center team as a Casual Lifeguard and Instructor. Ensure safety, teach aquatic lessons, and provide first aid to create an enjoyable environment for customers.
We are looking to fill five casual positions at the Aquatic Center. Candidates must be at least 15 years old and hold certifications in Pool Lifeguarding and Water Safety Instruction. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, logging important information, and fostering positive relations between staff and patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce safety policies for all Aquatic Center patrons
• Teach Aquatics lessons and manage necessary paperwork
• Administer First Aid as needed during incidents
• Maintain cleanliness in guard areas and changing rooms
• Promote programming and ensure positive public relations
Requirements:
• Must be at least 15 years of age
• Current Pool Lifeguarding Course certification
• Water Safety Instruction Certificate required
• Valid First Aid and CPR C certifications
• WHIMIS training necessary
