Position: Casual Gymnastics Instructor Needed
Location: West Vancouver
Become a casual Gymnastics Instructor with West Vancouver Community Services, working with diverse age groups. This role involves coaching gymnastics and ensuring a fun, safe learning space.
In this position, you will coach preschool, children, youth, and adults through various gymnastics programs. Your responsibilities include setting up equipment, evaluating junior coaches, and creating engaging lesson plans. Effective communication and leadership skills are essential for maintaining a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up gymnastics equipment and circuits for sessions
• Ensure timely class beginnings and endings
• Distribute assigned literature to students
• Mentor CITs and junior coaches effectively
• Maintain and clean the gymnastics centre
Requirements:
• Minimum Level 1 Gymnastics certification
• Experience working with youth and the public
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications required
• Completion of ethics-oriented training
• Valid police information check required
