Cardiac Stress Technician Jobs in Jersey City at Athletic Heart
Athletic Heart – Cardiac and Metabolic Testing, LLC is seeking certified and experienced Cardiac Stress Technicians for a unique opportunity to work with athletes. This is a contract-based assignment involving the administration of the exercise electrocardiography as part of a comprehensive health assessment.
**This position is a 2-day assignment on September 13-14th, 2026 in the Jersey City area**
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality exercise stress testing
- 12-lead ECG electrode placement, continuous ECG rhythm monitoring, and tracking blood pressure before, during, and after exercise.
- Recognize cardiac abnormalities and analyze test results to provide supporting data to the cardiologist
- Maintain a professional and calm demeanor with high-profile athletes
- Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality protocols
- Collaborate efficiently with the supervising clinical team, including the sonographer.
Requirements:
- Current EKG/Stress Technician certification or degree
- 3+ yrs Experience performing stress EKGs
- High attention to detail and clinical accuracy
- Ability to adapt to different treadmill protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Reliable transportation (travel reimbursement provided).
Ideal Candidates:
- Technicians with previous sports medicine, cardiology, or athlete-related clinical experience
- Individuals comfortable working in fast-paced, high-profile settings
- BLS Certified
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation and blood pressure monitoring
Pay: $300.00 per day
