Business Development Executive — FanGir (Partnerships & Licensing) Jobs in Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia at Kultura
Title: Business Development Executive — FanGir (Partnerships & Licensing)
Company: Kultura
Location: Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia
About FanGir
FanGir builds products for fans — the people who show up, spend, and shape the culture around sports and entertainment. We work at the intersection of fandom, IP, and commerce, and we're expanding the roster of partners and licensed properties we work with across Indonesia.
The Role
We're hiring a Business Development Executive to find, open, and close new partnerships and licensing deals across sports and entertainment. You'll build the pipeline — identifying clubs, leagues, artists, labels, IP holders, brands, and rights agencies worth working with, getting the meeting, and turning it into a signed deal.
This is a hunting role, not account farming: you'll own a deal from first outreach through to commercial terms.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline across sports (clubs, leagues, federations, athletes) and entertainment (labels, artists, promoters, studios, talent management).
- Run outreach end to end — cold approach, warm intros, event networking, inbound follow-up.
- Pitch FanGir to partners: build the deck, tell the story, handle the room.
- Negotiate commercial terms alongside leadership — revenue share, minimum guarantees, territory, exclusivity, term.
- Move deals from LOI to signature to launch, working with legal, product, and marketing.
- Track the Indonesian licensing and rights landscape — who owns what, whose deals are expiring, where the white space is.
- Keep the CRM honest: accurate pipeline, realistic forecasts, clean deal notes.
- Represent FanGir at industry events, matchdays, festivals, and conferences.
What we're looking for
Must have
- 3–5 years in business development, partnerships, sales, or account management — agency, media, sports, entertainment, or tech.
- Track record of closing partnership or commercial deals independently.
- Proven ability to open cold relationships and get to a meeting.
- Strong written and verbal Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Confident building a pitch deck and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Genuine interest in sports and/or entertainment — you follow the industry, not just the scores.
- Self-directed; comfortable with ambiguity and a small team.
Nice to have
- Existing network among Indonesian clubs, leagues, labels, promoters, or brand marketing teams.
- Hands-on exposure to licensing, IP, sponsorship, or rights deals.
- Experience at a startup or as an early commercial hire.
- CRM fluency (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar).
Why FanGir
- Own deals end to end — every partnership in the portfolio is one you led.
- Work at the intersection of fandom, IP, and commerce in a fast-growing category.
- Real ownership and direct access to leadership in a small, ambitious team.
