Today, Chi Forest products are sold across North America, Asia, and Oceania, with a growing presence in mainstream U.S. retail channels and pop culture events.

As Chi Forest continues expanding in the U.S., we are looking for passionate, globally minded interns who are excited about consumer brands, internet culture, and helping build the next generation of international brands.

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Marketing & Brand Strategy Intern to join the Chi Forest North America team. This role combines brand strategy, trend research, social media marketing, creator partnerships, and event marketing. You will work closely with both the U.S. and China teams to support Chi Forest’s international growth and help the brand better connect with global consumers.

This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates passionate about consumer brands, social media, and internet culture. Interns will gain direct exposure to real-world brand building across both digital and offline channels.

Duration & Commitment

  •  Full-time internship (5 days/week) 
  •  6-month commitment preferred 
  •  Flexible start date 
  •  Remote + occasional in-person event attendance 
  •  Los Angeles-based candidates preferred 

Responsibilities

  •  Support Chi Forest’s international brand strategy through research on global food & beverage trends, consumer behavior, competitor activity, and emerging marketing opportunities. 
  •  Monitor overseas social media trends, internet culture, and pop culture movements across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, and Xiaohongshu, and provide actionable insights. 
  •  Research and identify creators/KOLs that align with Chi Forest’s brand positioning, including outreach, communication, collaboration management, and performance tracking. 
  •  Assist with social media strategy and content planning for Chi Forest North America and global accounts. 
  •  Create, film, edit, and publish social media content, including live coverage from events such as Anime Expo, KCON, conventions, festivals, motorsports events, and community activations. 
  •  Coordinate and collaborate with both U.S. and China-based marketing teams on ongoing campaigns and creative projects. 
  •  Support event marketing execution, including booth activations, creator coordination, sampling activities, and post-event recaps. 
  •  Track industry developments and competitor campaigns while helping organize marketing reports and trend analysis. 

Requirements

  •  Strong passion for consumer brands, marketing, pop culture, and international business. 
  •  Deep interest in social media platforms and internet culture, especially Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging online trends. 
  •  Familiarity with anime, K-pop, creator culture is strongly preferred. 
  •  Excellent communication skills and strong curiosity toward global markets and consumer behavior. 
  •  Comfortable working in a bilingual and cross-cultural environment. 
  •  Fluent English required; Spanish/Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus. 
  •  Prior experience in content creation, marketing, social media management, creator partnerships, or event marketing is preferred. 
  •  Basic photo/video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Canva, etc.) preferred. 
  •  Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and reliable. 
  •  Must be able to commit full-time for approximately 6 months.
