Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive basketball training programs tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Lead engaging drills, scrimmages, and skill-building exercises to improve shooting, dribbling, passing, and defensive techniques
- Foster a positive team environment by encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline
- Monitor participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Incorporate relevant skills such as physical education teaching, behavior management, and motivational coaching techniques
- Collaborate with other sports instructors to create well-rounded athletic programs
- Front desk and membership sales
Skills
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly basketball training
- Background in teaching physical education or working with students of diverse ages and abilities
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies to maintain discipline and focus during sessions
- Strong communication skills to motivate participants and collaborate with team members
- Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude
