Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who genuinely lives and breathes basketball and understands the culture around the game.
This role is not focused on strategy, planning or managing social media calendars.
We are looking for a creator.
Someone who enjoys creating content, experimenting with formats, understanding trends and building communities through social media.
What You'll Do
- Create content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn
- Develop reels, short-form videos, memes and social-first content formats
- Identify trends and adapt them to the basketball community
- Help grow Pick-Roll's international audience through organic content
- Collaborate on challenges, rankings, seasons and community initiatives
- Test new content ideas and continuously improve performance
- Contribute to building one of the largest basketball communities in the world
Requirements
- Genuine passion for basketball
- Strong understanding of basketball culture, playground basketball, NBA, EuroLeague or local basketball communities
- Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok or YouTube Shorts
- Ability to independently shoot, edit and publish content
- Understanding of what drives engagement, shares and community participation
- Good English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience creating sports-related content
- Personal social media audience or creator experience
- Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar editing tools
- Knowledge of organic social growth strategies
- Experience working in startups or digital projects
Collaboration Model
We are looking for someone who wants to grow alongside Pick-Roll.
The collaboration is structured around a performance-based model linked to the expansion of the platform and the achievement of shared objectives.
The opportunity includes a revenue-sharing component connected to the growth of the community and Premium subscriptions, allowing contributors to directly participate in the value they help create.
Important
This position is focused on content creation and community growth through social-first content.
We will primarily evaluate candidates based on content they have personally created, including Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, creator-led content and similar projects.
Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on marketing management, social media management, project management, paid advertising or strategic planning, without direct content creation experience, may not be aligned with the current needs of this role.
