Role Description
This is a Part-Time/Contract, on-site position as a Basketball Coach located in California. The Basketball Coach will lead and facilitate practices, create training plans, and provide individual and team guidance to improve players’ skills and performance. Responsibilities will also include mentoring players in personal development, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship, analyzing game performance, and coordinating with other coaches or staff for seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Basketball as a player and/or Coaching, with the ability to teach fundamental and advanced basketball skills.
- Strong Communication skills to effectively mentor, motivate, and instruct youth athletes.
- Experience in Training and development, focusing on personal and athletic growth of players.
- Passion for youth development and fostering a positive, inclusive environment for athletes of diverse backgrounds.
- Proven leadership abilities and organizational skills to manage schedules, practices, and team activities.
- Prior experience coaching basketball is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field is a plus.
