Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Baseball/Softball Hitting Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coaching youth athletes, helping them improve their hitting techniques, and fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves working with players of various skill levels to develop their batting skills, build confidence, and promote sportsmanship. Prior experience in sports coaching, teaching, or related physical education is highly valued. The instructor will contribute to the growth of young athletes through engaging instruction and personalized feedback.
Duties
- Conduct individual and group hitting lessons for baseball and softball players, focusing on proper technique and mechanics
- Develop tailored training programs to meet each athlete’s skill level and goals
- Provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their swing, timing, and overall performance
- Create a positive and motivating environment that encourages learning and sportsmanship
- Monitor athlete progress and adjust training plans accordingly
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions
- Assist in organizing practice sessions, drills, and skill-building activities
- Maintain equipment and ensure the training area is clean and organized
- Collaborate with parents, coaches, and other staff to support athlete development
Qualifications
- Prior experience in baseball/softball coaching
- Knowledge of baseball/softball hitting techniques and mechanics
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage young athletes
Pay: From $22.50 per hour
