Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging baseball training programs tailored to different skill levels and age groups
- Teach fundamental baseball techniques such as batting, pitching, catching, and fielding with clear instructions and demonstrations
- Foster a positive team environment by encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and respectful behavior
- Monitor participants’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust coaching methods accordingly
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities and maintain a safe playing environment
- Assist with organizing games, drills, and competitions to enhance skill development and enjoyment
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, or school staff to communicate progress and address any concerns
Requirements
- Prior experience in baseball coaching or playing at competitive levels is highly preferred
- Strong background in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or related fields
- Experience working with children or youth in sports or childcare settings
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to motivate participants and maintain discipline
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and foster a positive learning environment
- Certifications in Lifeguard training or health club/fitness instruction are a plus but not mandatory
- Enthusiasm for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles through sports
