Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant sports bar team! In this role, you will be the heart of the action, creating an exciting atmosphere for guests while expertly serving drinks and ensuring top-notch customer service. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards
- Engage with guests enthusiastically to enhance their experience, providing knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and game schedules
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change distribution
- Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to legal drinking age laws and responsible serving practices
- Support catering, banquet events, or nightclub functions as needed to accommodate large groups or special occasions
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially within a sports bar or nightclub setting
- Fine dining experience or banquet experience is a plus for handling diverse customer expectations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
- Experience in retail math, cash handling, and cashiering to ensure accuracy in transactions
- Background in hospitality, brewing, or the food industry helps provide a well-rounded understanding of customer service excellence
