Star Camps seeks an athletic trainer for their four weeks of summer camp (June 22-26, July 6-10, July 13-17, and July 20-24).
Star Camps is a summer sports camp located at the Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord, MA for children ages 5-15. The camp typically enrolls 125-200 campers each week who play a range of sports, including soccer, baseball, basketball, softball, lacrosse, flag football, and volleyball. The camp runs from 9am-3pm and the trainer will need to be on campus from 8:30am-3:15pm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing immediate assessment and care for injuries and illness.
- Carrying out Star Camps medical procedures in collaboration with the Camp Director.
- Managing camper medication such as epi-pens and inhalers.
- Communicating with parents about camper health and wellbeing.
- Documenting all medical care provided
Qualifications:
- Certification as an athletic trainer
- CPR Certification
- First Aid certification
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
