Athletic Marketing Specialist
Reports To: Vice President of Marketing Job Status: 12-month, full-time, exempt
Salary Information: Salary will be based upon compensation guidelines/substitute pay policy; with a range of
$71,000 – $75,000. This position is eligible for benefits (medical, dental, vision), generous PTO and holiday
schedule, 401(k) savings plan with school match, higher education tuition reimbursement, and JSerra tuition
discount of 50% off base tuition for each dependent child or legal guardian designated child who attends JSerra.

Responsibilies
Social Media
- Manage and grow JSerra Athletics’ presence across Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube
- Create compelling content, including graphics photos, reels, and stories
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow the follower community
- Attend athletic events to capture when needed
- Track analytics and provide regular performance reports with actionable insights
Marketing Collateral & Design
• Design and produce print and digital materials, including game programs, posters, flyers, banners, and
- Collaborate with the Atheltics Department to support team-specific promotional needs
- Maintain brand consistency across all JSerra Athletics communications in alignment with JSerra’s athletic
guidelines
Website Management and Design
• Coordinate with the school’s main communiations/marketing team to align messaging
- Maintain the althetics section of the school website
- Developing and maintaining web forms for the Athletics section of the school website
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in marketing, social media management, or sports
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and/or
Canva
- Photography and videography skills; experience with video editing software preferred
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends to cover athletic events
- Passion for Catholic education and alignment with JSerra’s mission values
Preferred Skills
• Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social)
- Familiarity with website CMS platforms (e.g., FinalSite)
- Prior experience in a high school or collegiate athletics department
- Graphic design portfolio demonstrating sports-related work or comparable work
experience
