Duties and Responsibilities
This position will assist in recruiting and retention of student-athletes: identifying prospects, organize and arrange campus visits, serve as the liaison to campus relations (housing, registration, compliance etc.) abiding by NCAA compliance and Atlantic 10 Conference rules and regulations. This position will assist in player development of student-athletes, manage and organize team travel and assist with opponent scouting. This position will be coordinating camps and will expected to develop strong relationship within the Chicago and University community.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Two years of collegiate coaching experience in designated sport required.
- Understanding of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and commitment to the mission of Jesuit higher education.
Qualifications
- An ability to draw upon coaching/playing experience and contribute to technical training as well as in match tactical adjustments.
- Must have working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
