Job Summary
Join Our Team as an Assistant Soccer Coach!
Zum-E-Hop Soccer is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Assistant Coach to join our growing team. Our Head Coach will train the right candidate, so previous coaching experience is helpful but not required. Once the assistant coach is trained, they will take over classes independently.
As part of Zum-E-Hop Soccer, you will lead fun and engaging soccer classes for young players, including:
- Soccer Minis (Ages 3–5)
- Maximum of 12 children per class
- Another adult will always be present
- Soccer Rockers (Ages 6–8)
- Maximum of 18 children per class (no other adults present)
Duties
- Teaching kids the fundamentals of soccer
- Running age-appropriate games and activities
- Keeping children engaged, active, and having fun
- Creating a positive and encouraging environment
- Having all equipment ready
- taking roll call
- signing in and out of front office
Classes are 45 minutes to 1 hour long, and locations vary throughout the South Bay.

- Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must speak English
- Must pass a background check (paid by candidate)
- Positive attitude and strong reliability
- Reliable transportation to carry equipment to different locations
- Experience working with children is preferred, but not required
Pay: $25.00 – $60.00 per day
