Description
Warley Park Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Assistant Greenkeeper to join the course team at one of Essex’s most established golf venues.
This role offers an opportunity to develop your career in the golf and sports turf industry within a forward‑thinking organisation focused on maintaining high course standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily golf course setup and presentation
- Mowing and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, surrounds, and rough
- Bunker preparation and course detailing
- Operation of modern golf course machinery
- Assisting with irrigation, aeration, spraying, and renovation work
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety
- Supporting the team in delivering excellent year‑round playing conditions
The Ideal Candidate
- Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Takes pride in producing high‑quality work
- Works well within a team environment
- Has a genuine interest in golf course maintenance
- Holds relevant greenkeeping qualifications (preferred but not essential)
- Has experience operating turf machinery (preferred)
- Is reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
