- Summary- Teaching Golf Pro
We are interested in an IMMEDIATE HIRING of an existing qualified Golf Pro who can demonstrate they are prepared with the skills to immediately begin as a teaching Pro and take on some golf shop duties. This is a small family run private club in that there is only one golf Pro and assisted by other Pro Shop clerks. This is an IMMEDIATE OPENING position.
Our goal is for the candidate to be integral to enhancing the golfing experience for members and guests. Your core skills in sports coaching and teaching will be essential in providing lessons and clinics while learning to become the golf pro. Join our team to foster a welcoming and educational environment for all golf enthusiasts. Becoming the Golf Pro for the facility is the ultimate goal. We are immediately hiring for this position.

Golf Operations Management
- Manage the pro shop, ensuring that stock inventory is up-to-date.
- Starter managing Tee Sheet and Golf Cart Rentals
- Tee time schedules and generate sales reports
- Scoring Club Competitions and Events:
- Assisting Golfers:
- Lessons
- Club Repair
- Golf pros provide assistance and advice to all golfers who play the course.
- Whether it’s swing tips, club selection, or course strategy, they are there to guide players.
- Course Maintenance Collaboration:
Qualifications
- EITHER certified by the PGA (Professional Golfer’s Association) or currently in the apprentice program OR;
- Successfully completed a Golf Management School and earned a degree, Minimum Associate Degree
- Worked a minimum of two years in a golf shop in the capacity of an Assistant Golf Pro.
- Welcoming and friendly personality.
- Background in sports coaching and teaching methodologies.
- Ability to engage and motivate children and adults in golf and other activities.
- What gives me an edge in an interview
- Computer literate including MS Office suite
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
