Ban Bury Golf Course in Eagle, , designed by John Harbottle III, meanders around the South Channel of the Boise River, uniting golf with native habitat. The six‑kilometre course is par 71, welcomes golf and visitors alike, and consistently ranks in the top ten Idaho courses per Golf Digest. Facilities include a full‑scale driving range, chipping area, three Tack Man Golf Simulations, Quintic Ball Roll System, custom club fitting and repair shop, and a full‑service restaurant and bar.
Experience
Required
- Started PGA PGM program is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of golf operations.
- Motivated, customer‑service focused attitude and team player.
- Experience with Golf Genius tournament software is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral business communications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, social media platforms and internet—significant advantage.
- Custom club fitting experience is a plus.
Essential Responsibilities
Job Summary: Under the Director of Golf, assist the Head Golf Professional and First Assistant with daily golf operations of the facility, maintaining high professionalism and a customer‑centric attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in day‑to‑day golf course operations.
- Assist in tournament operations.
- Assist with teaching programs.
- Assist in merchandising for the golf shop.
- Maintain a clean and organized golf shop.
- Maintain a professional and service‑oriented environment in the pro shop by providing excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Supervise outside services staff, focusing on budget management.
- Promote the game of golf.
- Implement and support all BGC initiatives and programs as requested by management; other duties may be assigned by management.
Benefits
Compensation & Benefits Overview:
- Hourly rate $17.00–$21.00 per hour, paid biweekly, based on experience and qualifications. Anticipated total income range: $42,000–$50,000.
