Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Golf Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in golf instruction and a commitment to enhancing the skills of players of all levels. This role involves teaching golf techniques, managing golf programs, and fostering a positive environment for both beginners and experienced golfers. The Golf Professional will work closely with students, providing personalized coaching and support to help them achieve their golfing goals.
Duties
- Conduct individual and group golf lessons tailored to various skill levels.
- Develop and implement engaging golf programs for players of all ages.
- Provide feedback on swing mechanics, putting techniques, and overall game strategy.
- Organize and lead golf clinics, tournaments, and special events.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes learning and enjoyment of the game.
- Collaborate with other sports professionals to enhance overall athletic development.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to foster a respectful learning environment.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons and events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sports coaching or instruction, particularly in golf.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students of all ages.
- Experience working with students in various capacities (e.g., health club, swim instruction).
- Knowledge or experience in related sports such as basketball, judo, cheerleading, or climbing is a plus.
- Certification as a lifeguard is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively within a group setting.
- A passion for teaching and promoting the sport of golf.
