• Aquatics & Pool Operation Manager / Assistant Swim Coach

  Lewiston, ME
  The Aquatics & Pool Operation Manager / Assistant Swim Coach is responsible for aiding the Head Coach in administering a competitive NCAA Division III intercollegiate swim program. This position focuses on the aquatic and pool operations duties including managing the programming for, and running the operations, of the pool. The Aquatics Manager position focuses primarily in the areas of pool management, lifeguard supervision, community engagement, risk management, recruitment of staff, along with fiscal program management. In addition to Aquatics Manager duties, the Assistant Swim Coach role will focus on program administration pertaining to travel, training, skill development, and also work in partnership with the head coach to enroll an academically and athletically talented and diverse team of students. The position will also assist with various projects assigned based on experience and program needs, and requires significant night and weekend commitments.

• Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Educator

  The Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Educator is responsible for providing individual nutrition counseling to students on campus and working with campus partners to develop and implement nutrition education for the full student population. The Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Educator works with Dining, Conferences, and Campus Events to provide clinical perspective on departmental operations and initiatives.
• Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper Coach (Seasonal)

  The Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper Coach is responsible for aiding the Head Coach in the execution of practices and game day instruction/coaching, primarily in the training of the goal keepers. • Director of Photography and Multimedia Production

The Director offers critical clinical perspective and participates in decision making around intervention issues impacting community safety and well-being.
• Steward (Bates-Morse Mountain Conservation Area)

  Stewards serve as on-site representatives of Bates College. Steward tasks include greeting and informing visitors, maintaining records, monitoring entrance and parking lot, walking trail and beach, checking for damage, rule violations, and communicating with the BMMCA Director. Stewards work full-time (40- hours per week) mid-May through mid-October. Stewards are expected to work weekends and holidays.

  The Custodian position at Bates College is responsible for the general appearance and cleanliness of assigned areas and buildings, including housekeeping services for student residences. This position includes routine work such as waste removal, dusting, mopping, vacuuming floor surfaces, cleaning restrooms, restocking consumables, and non-routine work such as window and wall washing, snow shoveling and sanding of walks, steps and porches.
