Job Description
Texas State University, a member of the Pac-12 Conference, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Softball Coach for the Texas State Athletic Department. This position is a full-time and benefits eligible position, and reports to the Head Softball Coach.

Job Duties
The Assistant Softball (Pitching) Coach is responsible for the direct and independent coaching of student-athletes during practice and games, the assessment of prospective student-athletes, creation of individualized development plans for each student-athlete, development of overall game plans, facilitating team meetings, participating in public relations, marketing and fund raising for the softball program and the athletic department, monitoring the academic progress of softball student athletes, monitoring softball summer camps and clinics and complying with NCAA, conference and Texas State University rules and regulations.
