POSITION DESCRIPTION: In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this full-time administrative position is responsible for providing athletic training services to all student athletes. This position will assist with the daily operation of the athletic training program and will develop and maintain training and conditioning programs for student athletes. The Assistant Athletic Trainer position requires certification in BOC and a current CPR/AID First Aid certification. Must have the ability to work irregular hours and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Kinesiology, or related field.
2. Two years of athletic training experience preferred.
3. BOC Certification is required.
4. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
5. CPR/AED/First Aid Certification is required.
6. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
7. Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
SALARY: Salary Grade 2 on the Administrative Pay Scale, ranging from $46,032 – 57,516 per year.
