Become the Aquatics Manager at the Sarnia YMCA Jerry McCaw Family Centre starting May 4th, 2026. This role emphasizes program development, staff mentorship, and member engagement in aquatic services.
As the Aquatics Manager, you’ll lead programming year-round, including outdoor activities at Tecumseh Pool during summer. Your responsibilities will include budget management, staff recruitment, and training, alongside maintaining the highest service standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and schedule Aquatics programs effectively
• Recruit, train, and mentor Aquatics staff and volunteers
• Manage the Aquatics budget and resource allocation
• Ensure safe cleaning techniques for pool and equipment
• Model YMCA values and high service standards daily
Requirements:
• Current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard certification
• Standard First Aid and CPR-C certifications
• YMCA Swim Instructor or equivalent certification
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Acceptable Criminal Record Check required
