Position: Aquatic Program Leader – YMCA Greater

This role is ideal for candidates 16 to 30 with current lifeguard and Aquafit certifications. You’ll be responsible for building rapport with participants and promoting the YMCA’s mission while fulfilling legal obligations regarding child protection. Collaborate closely with volunteers and staff to enhance program offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage members with YMCA programs and events
• Educate on child safety and legal reporting duties
• Mentor program members for optimal participation
• Uphold YMCA’s commitment to volunteer partnerships
• Ensure all necessary certifications are valid
Requirements:
• Must be between 16 to 30 years old
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada mandatory
• Hold relevant lifeguard and Aquafit certifications
• Preferred experience in swim lesson instruction
• Excellent organizational and communication skills required
