The Community Services Department is actively seeking qualified Aquatic Leadership Instructors for the Courtice Community Complex and other facilities. You will plan, organize, and implement programs that align with Lifesaving Society standards. Strong customer service, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently are essential to excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement aquatic courses according to Lifesaving Society standards
• Ensure health and safety of all participants
• Manage administrative duties and course procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to candidates
• Exercise sound judgment in course management
Requirements:
• Current Standard or Intermediate First Aid with CPR ‘C’
• Current Lifesaving Society Instructor and Examiner Award
• Minimum qualifications for specific Instructor types
• Valid National Lifeguard Awards as required
• Proof of qualifications and criminal background check
