Lead safety at the Kenn Borek Aquatic Centre as an Aquatic Supervisor. Oversee lifeguards, enhance training, and ensure high program standards.
In your pivotal role, you’ll work with the Aquatics Manager to deliver comprehensive aquatic services. You’ll supervise swimming pool staff, assist in training development, and maintain records while fostering positive relationships with both patrons and staff members. A keen understanding of safety protocols is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Aquatics Manager in centre operation
• Lifeguard and provide instruction to patrons
• Administer shift scheduling and training for staff
• Innovate and improve existing aquatic programs
• Maintain records and prepare facility reports
Requirements:
• Current Standard First Aid and Lifesaving Instructor Certifications
• Minimum one year in a supervisory role
• Three years lifeguarding/instruction experience
• Knowledge of provincial swimming pool regulations
• Current Aquatic Fitness Instructor Certification
Excel in aquatic safety and training as the Aquatic Centre Lifeguard Supervisor.
